This is a very simple and easy to make spray recipe that you can use on your bedsheets from one wash to another. It is especially nice for those really cold winter months when windows are not kept open as often and you want to freshen your sheets in between washes. I like to spray my sheets and pillows in the morning when I make the bed.
You will need 1 spray bottle, water, essential oils, rubbing alcohol or vodka to preserve it (although this is not necessary if using a very small spray bottle).
Fill your spray bottle with water 2/3rds full if using a preservative to keep the water from going stagnant. Fill the rest with vodka or rubbing alcohol, leaving enough room for your EO drops. If you have a really small spray bottle and plan on using it often then water alone is sufficient. Add 10- 30 drops of your favorite essential oil depending on the size of your spray bottle. I prefer lavender or a citrus blend like orange and lemon. Screw on your spray lid, shake and use. You will need to shake it before each use as the oil will float to the top.
Warning: If you have white sheets, test a small area. The EO’s might stain your sheets. I have never had a problem with fleece.
